-Shoka thinks Furin quit the game before they were locked in. In truth, her friend is stuck on his secret work account because he was told to use it during the Q&A that never happened. LOL.

-It's like a Level 50 Shadow Warlock. In his opinion it's not as fun to play like a close combat class, hence why he rarely used it. "It's meant to look like an office worker doing his dull admin job". (His BLM self weehee)

-Furin's admin account character name is Shimaenaga, but he goes by Ena with players for simplicity.

-Shima is his old work name as an escort. Does not like to be called it, and the work account name is a bit of a joke as it wasn't picked by him. The bird itself is cute though.

-He's 23 years old in this AU. Canonically he's 28.

-Furin the easygoing airhead is a genuine facet of his personality, as is Ena who's just very efficient when it comes to a given task (to relax later). Not ruthlessly so, but it's there. He accepts having to be more alone because of the general… opinion of admins/CCC employees after all that.

-He tries to be more distant as an employee to cope with the loneliness. He's treated well but does his best to not get close. The beta playerbase is just generally too nice and the inability to pay them back is going to eat him alive.

-The Ena side exists because of a back story change. Here he's alone without close relatives and has done questionable things to make something that feels like a nice life.

-He's a CCC R&D assistant, but there are doubts about the legitimacy of his position. "I do all the boring paperwork they don't want to do because they'd rather be doing their own stuff". He thinks a good deal of them are unsocial weirdos or too ambitious.

-The gist is that the head of the research department "hired" him as a farce and he knows it. CCC worries he's a spy that tried to seduce a higher-up, while the head doesn't want their spouse and kids to know they used to be the regular customer of an escort named Shima. Yup.

-"Oh, I guess this is how they decided I should die."

SPOILER STUFF

-His work is vague and involves note-taking and observations of the environment, not just bugs, as well as player impact on them.

-His account has some weird code built into it. He assumes has to do with collecting data samples, because he knows a few researchers are obsessed with Harald's more mundane programming work in Fragment. It's only available to then when the beta is over or the Shima account dies. They hope the latter, because... It's faster.

-If he has to die (not suicidal or seeking it but the ideation is there on occasion), he'd want it so that he can't be harvested like a crop thank you.

-Did Harald approve that? Fuck if he knows. He's also forbidden from interfering in Harald's work aka the transformation of Phases, but he can fight them as that assists them in data collection.

-The current known extent of his work account powers is some fast out of area teleporting and a stash of potions that slowly replenish in Root Town areas.

-He can't easily appreciate Zelkova or Lily. They're both very uncanny to him and he's afraid of them both.
